I started writing and reading poetry over thirty years ago.  Since that time, I have put together a compilation of over 50+ poems, written an historic, nonfiction short story about the Adirondacks, a children's book, and a nonfiction novel all of which I am in the process of publishing.  As a US Air Force Veteran, stay-at-home mother now with grown children, and writer, I find great pleasure in relaxing with my husband and dogs at our home in Carefree, Arizona.

My family and life experiences influence my writing.  I prefer to write poetry as inspiration for writing nonfiction.  Through sharing with family and friends my work, I receive much encouragement and support.  I hope as I continue down this path, I can answer more questions about the writing process and provide solid advice on what has worked for me.
